Piano Tuner for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra

Alistair Strating is currently the piano tuner and technician for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. He travels statewide to prepare concert grand pianos for the Tasmanian Sympony Orchestra, Musica Viva Australia, and other concert venues. Our concert work has included artists such as Tim Minchin, Missy Higgins, Tamara-Anna Cislowska and Stefan Cassonemos.

Alistair is not just a skilled piano tuner, but also a talented musician who can play both the piano and the French horn. His musical journey has taken him to various national and international stages, including performances with the Azimus band, Musical Theatre pit orchestras, the Sambeek Wind Symphony in the Netherlands, and the University of Tasmania Wind Orchestra.
